APARTMENTS, CABINS & HIGHLAND PASTURE STAY:
Our apartments are spacious and elegantly decorated whilst retaining the use of natural materials from our farm to give you a self-sufficient and comfortable stay. Our cabins date back to the 1800s and still retain their rustic and romantic charm from the old days. Many of the original features have been restored and maintained. The floor, for example, is handmade from thick, wide planks from just one tree from our farm.
Our highland pasture (or seter as it is known in Norwegian) is located in the Lora Valley, a picturesque 30-minute drive away from Trollskogen Gard, along the Lora river via waterfalls, rapids and rich wildlife and flora. Our seter located at just over a 1000 metres deep inside the Reinheimen National Park and is on the Unesco World Heritage list of heritage places to preserve. The seter gives one the unique opportunity to experience life in all its simplicity, very close contact with nature. Running water is available and is sourced directly from the stream at the seter’s edge. A biological toilet and a hot shower are also available in the barn.
All our units have electricity and charging points for your devices, a lounge with a fireplace, bedrooms, kitchenette, en-suite shower/wc (except at the seter where the wc and shower is located in the barn a few metres away), patio or balcony, outside seating space, campfire and spectacular nature all around.
Trollheimen - apartment
A home-made, farm breakfast is available to all our guests each morning during the summer. Wifi, fully made-up beds with excellent bed linen & housekeeping at the end of your stay are all included. Also available at the property: Access to the river for a swim, access to a boat Pioneer 14ft for people with boating experience, at their own risk) - Outdoor seating, barbecue area and relaxing area.

Charging electric cars: One Tesla charger available at the farm. Kindly pre-book. A. large electric car charging station is located at Dombås a mere 15-minutes drive away.
